The Rotovac Steam Cleaning System
One of the features that make Hanson's Home services stand out from other cleaners is the Rotovac Powerwand. The Rotovac Powerwand is used in conjunction with steam cleaning to capture substantially more moisture from your carpet, leaving your carpet drier and cleaner.
How it works
The Rotovac's dual Rotary Jet Extraction cleaning heads counter-rotate over the carpet at 250 rpm. Each cleaning head has 3 spray jets and 3 vacuum slots producing 1500 multi-directional injection/extraction cleaning passes per minute, thoroughly cleaning all sides of the carpet fiber. A person with a manual scrub wand can only make around 60 two-directional cleaning passes per minute. As the person tires this number decreases, along with the quality (on left in picture).
The Rotovac's unique dome-shaped design of the cleaning heads encapsulates the spray jets to create a "Steam Chamber" effect in the cleaning zone, delivering maximum heat to the carpet fiber. The powerful combination of heat, agitation and rotary flushing action enables the Rotovac to clean heavily soiled and matted carpet far more effectively than a conventional wand. The Rotovac system does not overwet the carpet. You can expect maximum soil removal and the pile of the carpet will be "standing tall" again. It cleans Berber far better than a manual scrub wand, and it cleans it so effortlessly that, unlike many others, I don't have to charge extra for Berber carpets.
The Chemicals
I use only neutral synthetic detergents that do not leave a sticky residue on your carpet. When I extract the water, soil and detergent from the carpet, I use a fabric rinse that leaves the carpet bright, totally clean and completely chemical free. In fact, it's so thorough, I even remove soil and residue from previous cleaners. There is no soap residue for soil to cling to, and it's even baby safe!
3M Scotchgard™ Protector
Hanson's Home Services is a licensed applicator of 3M Scotchgard™ and can answer any questions you may have concerning the product or application. Scotchgard™ Protector helps carpets and furnishings resist stains from both oil and water based foods, including soft drinks, coffee, tea, red wine and grease. It also makes blotting up liquid spills easier, helps stains release more easily when carpet and upholstery are cleaned, revitalizes mill-applied stain protection and actually makes vacuuming easier. IICRC Certification
In addition to being fully licensed and insured, I have received certification from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification. This organization is an independent, non-profit certification body that promotes high standards and ethics.
IICRC certification is based upon successful completion of a class in which the curriculum follows industry standards for that category as well as achieving a passing grade on a standardized exam. Once certification is achieved, professionals must earn Continuing Education Credits (CECs) to maintain their certification.
